The Morison family

The Morison family would like to give you a warm welcolme and here to help to make your stay as enjoyable as possible

Scotland is one of the most beautiful countries in the world, with its impressive landscapes of moors and mountains. A land that leaves no-one indifferent, making an imprint on the soul of the traveller with its unforgettable memories. Its hospitable highland people, who are so proud of their past, will make your stay among us a wonderful experience.

Scotland has a area of approximately 81,610 sq km, and is 441 km long from north to south, and between 39 and 248 km wide from the east coast to the west. It is divided into two geographical areas: the lowlands and the highlands.

Scotland currently has a population of just over five million inhabitants. Its capital is Edinburgh, one of the most attractive cities in northern Europe. The city has about 500,000 inhabitants and is known as the Athens of the north. It is the headquarters of the Scottish Parliament and gateway to the mythical Scottish highlands.

The culture of Scotland is different in many ways from that of its sister country, Ireland. Everyone knows that Scotland is famous for its Kilt. Another important feature of Scotland is its whisky. The best whisky in the world comes from Scotland. The third and last important object with which Scotland is associated are the bagpipes, which can be heard in many Scottish tunes and in the Scottish national anthem.
